Provisionally selected candidates are hereby informed as follows:
1. They shall complete their hostel admission by paying the prescribed admission fee between 12-08-2026 and 18-08-2026 (on all working days) at the University Cash Counter. The admission fee is ₹12,000.00 for the Boys' Hostel and ₹12,300.00 for the Girls' Hostel. Payment shall be accepted only through ATM/Debit Card/Credit Card or UPI. Cash payment will not be accepted. The hostel admission fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
2. Hostel admission shall be valid only for the current academic session. Only dulyadmitted boarders shall be permitted to reside in the hostel.
3. Candidates shall bring the following personal belongings at the time of admission: bedroll (including mattress, bed sheet, pillow with pillow cover), mosquito net, bucket withmug, one 12 W LED bulb, plate/dish for meals, drinking glass, and preferably a hotcase.
4. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. The hostels of Jagannath Barooah Universitymaintain a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. Any incident of ragging, if noticed,shall be reported immediately to the concerned Hostel Superintendent for promptaction.
5. Candidates shall submit duly signed hard copies of the 'Anti-Ragging Undertaking bythe Student' and the 'Undertaking by Parent/Guardian', along with the hosteladmission fee receipt, at the University Cash Counter at the time of hostel admission.
