Provisionally selected candidates are hereby informed as follows:
1. They shall complete their hostel admission by paying the prescribed admission fee between 19-08-2026 and 21-08-2026 (on all working days) at the University Cash Counter. The admission fee is ₹12,000.00 for the Boys' Hostel and ₹12,300.00 for the Girls' Hostel. Payment shall be accepted only through ATM/Debit Card/Credit Card or UPI. Cash payment will not be accepted. The hostel admission fee is nonrefundable under all circumstances.
2. Hostel admission shall be valid only for the current academic session. Only duly admitted boarders shall be permitted to reside in the hostel.
3. Candidates shall bring the following personal belongings at the time of admission:
bed- roll (including mattress, bed sheet, pillow with pillow cover), mosquito net, bucket with mug, one 12 W LED bulb, plate/dish for meals, drinking glass, and preferably a hot case.
4. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. The hostels of Jagannath Barooah University maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. Any incident of ragging, if noticed, shall be reported immediately to the concerned Hostel Superintendent for prompt action.
5. Candidate has to submit duly signed hard copies of the 'Anti-Ragging Undertaking by the Student' and the 'Undertaking by Parent/Guardian', at the University Cash Counter at the time of hostel admission.
