Chemical Society, Department of Chemistry, Jagannath Barooah College organized a Highlighted Talk on Science & Women, collectively celebrating National Science Day (NSD) & Women's Day on 6th March, 2025. Mrs. Akhtara H. Kalita, HoD, Department of Chemistry hosted the programs where Dr. Utpal J. Mahanta, Principal, JB College delivered the welcome address. Dr. Aditi Bezbaruah, Retired Associate Professor & HoD, Jorhat Engineering College served as resource person. In her talk, she commemorated the contribution of various women from different parts of the world to the scientific community and its advancement. The programs ended with the vote of thanks from Dr. Gitashree Darabdhara, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry.
