Semester-IV Zoology (Major) students from J.B. College, Jorhat, participated in two prominent initiatives under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, as part of their Internship Programme from December 9 to 30, 2024. The two programs, the 100-day National TB Elimination Campaign and the National Tobacco Control Program, were conducted by the Office of the Joint Director of Health Services, Jorhat, under the guidance of Dr. Bhaktimay Bhattacharyya, the District TB Officer and District Nodal Officer for the District Tobacco Control Cell, Jorhat.
Certificates of Internship completion were presented by Dr. Bhaktimay Bhattacharyya, Nilave Bhuyan, Coordinator of the Zoology Department Internship Program, and social worker Jagannath Agni Bora, on March 18, 2025.
