Frontiers in Physics Lecture Series
In 2014, Department of Physics, Jagannath Barooah College started a lecture series named Frontiers in Physics (FIP) Lecture Series in collaboration with the Physics Society of J. B. College. FIP lectures series are aimed at inviting brilliant young researchers working in different areas of Physics including interdisciplinary areas for delivering lectures on topics related to the exciging new developments in their field of study. Till date three of such lectures have been organized.

Distinguished Lecture Series
In 2014, Department of Physics, Jagannath Barooah College started another lecture series named Distinguished Lecture Series in collaboration with the Physics Society of J. B. College. Distinguished lectures series are aimed at inviting brilliant speakers for delivering stimulating lectures on exciting topics related to the recent developments in sceince and technology. Till date five of such lectures have been organized.
